The blower motor on my Fiesta ST decided to take a holiday today. Fuse is fine, connectors seem tight, display shows fan speed as being adjusted by the knob (the little speed gauge thing goes up and down when you turn it) but no blower. It would have to do this when it's -14 out wouldn't it? Also on a day when I have been fighting with recalcitrant postscript rips and Adobe scripting hell for 12 hours. Fucking thing worked fine this morning. /begin beer.

Did you post this on the forums? Ford service tends to stalk them and often helps out.

It's a known issue , go harass your Ford folks over the TSB. Meanwhile see if the vent is clogged with ice, it may be stuck. There may be another fuse in the engine compartment? It should at least work at setting 4 if it's getting juice, and not iced stuck.

My ex had a Focus Titanium, and I'm gonna go ahead and say the Fiesta has more consistent panel gaps and is generally better put together...

I hope so, all the reviews have been so stunned with how good it is.
With how well Ford has been doing lately, the Focus ST issues did put me off a bit. I'm glad to hear that it's not afflicting the Fiesta to the same level. All jokes aside I know it's a first MY vehicle, with the usual issues.

No My Ford Bad-Touch in mine, just the mini-sync, and apparently I may have poor cabin air intake drain design and super cold weather to thank for my fanlessness... (thanks webmonkees). ((yes, I have made that joke, the ST is just so DAMN GOOD to drive...))
